Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and prepare title packets for transfers. Perform lot maintenance and merchandising, ensuring display areas are clean and organized. Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming. Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings. Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support. Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Required Qualifications Valid driver’s license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards. High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred. Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records. Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and assigned trainings. Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments. Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment. The hourly rate for this position is: $21.28 - $29.67 Benefits: Except as otherwise required by state law, those considered part‑time are eligible for sick time only in states that mandate it and amounts are accrued on a per pay period basis and range from 24 hours to unlimited based on state rules. In Washington, part‑time Associates receive sick leave consistent with state law. Part‑time Associates are also eligible for between 8 hours and 40 hours per year of vacation based on their length of service and subject to a 1 year waiting period.
