Facility Operations Manager

Role Overview As Facilities Manager, you will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management at assigned sites, coordinating client requirements, vendor relationships, and service delivery to ensure satisfaction. Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Establish open lines of communication to build trust and provide transparent exchanges of information with the site team. Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts’ standard processes and procedures. Ensure compliance with portfolio‑wide initiatives and required local, state, and federal laws. Develop and maintain positive relationships with client POCs, stakeholders, and operations teams. Act as the primary interface on‑site with client representatives, collaborating to determine client expectations and ensure delivery of committed services. Inspect buildings routinely to guarantee that building services meet high‑quality standards. Support the client in implementing short‑ and long‑term projects, managing capital and expense budgets, and daily maintenance activities. Develop and implement innovative programs, processes, and procedures that reduce operating costs and increase productivity. Assist vendors with site visits, onboarding, and reviewing KPIs and SLAs defined in scope of work. Understand operations for all FM vendors and ensure proper tools for performance management. Supervise vendor performance; resolve, track, and document vendor escalations quickly. Contribute to vendor performance assessments via scorecards, business intelligence, MBR/QBRs, and action plans. Drive site KPIs, financial and other metrics, and reporting. Build collaborative relationships with vendors and client. Support the Regional and Account leadership with other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Experience collaborating with multiple functions to achieve results. Strong analytical skills for structured problem solving and root‑cause analysis. Minimum of 6 years industry experience in the corporate environment, third‑party service provider, or as a consultant. Strong organizational and management skills within matrixed organizations; oversight of technical and administrative staff. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to build repeatable processes that surpass customer expectations. Ability to multi‑task and work without direct supervision. Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints. Strong presentation skills. Proficient in MS Office, MS SharePoint, and MS Excel with data analysis capability. Computer proficiency in CMMS/Work Order systems. Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours, including weekends, when necessary. US citizenship is required for this position due to government contract requirements. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field. Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting, and building systems.
