Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with standard nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6, with potential flex to 1:7 during unplanned staffing absences
• Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to rapid response situations as needed
• Administer insulin and manage patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry-level care
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope to like units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Participate in on-call availability on a PRN basis during low census periods

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Demonstrated skills in Med/Surg, Telemetry, Insulin administration, and Rapid Response
• Willingness to work every other weekend as required
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience preferred
• ACLS and/or NIHSS certification preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
