Commercial Wine Director

Summary The Commercial Wine Director leads the commercial development and execution for the U.S. wine portfolio, driving depletion growth, distributor engagement, market execution, and portfolio performance. This role manages a team of Wine Business Development Managers and serves as the primary link between commercial sales, brand teams, field marketing, and distributor partners to deliver sustainable growth. Responsibilities Develop and execute the annual commercial strategy, market prioritization, and resource allocation for the wine portfolio. Lead, coach, and set objectives for a team of Wine Business Development Managers, establishing KPIs and accountability measures. Build and maintain strong distributor relationships and collaborate with market leads on localized plans and activations. Oversee national and local programming, A&P investments, activation plans, execution standards, and evaluate program effectiveness and ROI. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience. 10+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing within wine and spirits; 5+ years of people management experience. Demonstrated commercial acumen, strategic thinking, strong analytical and financial performance management skills.
