What Our Client Needs
Our client is looking for a Supply Planning Lead to lead the monthly Supply Review process and Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) SIOP meetings. This role owns supply planning, inventory management, capacity planning, production planning, supply risk management, and executive reporting while aligning internal teams and external manufacturing partners.

Who You Are
You are an experienced supply planning professional who can turn complex operational data into clear plans and decisions. You communicate effectively across functions, anticipate supply and inventory risks, and bring structure to planning processes. You are comfortable working with senior stakeholders, manufacturing partners, and teams in a regulated environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the monthly Supply Review process and CMO SIOP meetings, documenting supply assumptions, constraints, risks, opportunities, and decisions.
• Develop constrained and unconstrained supply plans across product families, SKUs, and distribution networks.
• Create rolling production and replenishment plans that balance demand, inventory targets, service levels, and operational capabilities.
• Monitor inventory health, safety stock requirements, excess and obsolete inventory risk, and inventory policies across the supply network.
• Evaluate manufacturing and supplier capacity, identify constraints, and develop mitigation plans to protect product availability and business continuity.
• Develop scenarios and sensitivity analyses for supply disruptions, capacity constraints, inventory shortages, and demand variability.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Demand Planning, Distribution, Transportation, Customer Care, and contract manufacturing partners.
• Prepare executive-ready dashboards, analysis, presentations, and recommendations to support SIOP decisions.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters, lead times, bills of material, inventory settings, and other master data across planning systems.
• Ensure supply planning and inventory practices are standardized, auditable, and aligned with regulatory, quality, internal control, and SIOP governance requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support the optimization of planning systems, ERP tools, reporting platforms, automation, analytics, and data governance.

This role serves as a primary business contact for supply-related matters and works across internal functions and external manufacturing partners. Travel and supervisory responsibilities were not specified.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in supply planning, production planning, inventory management, SIOP, S&OP, Integrated Business Planning, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with experience leading cross-functional planning meetings.
• Experience analyzing inventory, production, supplier performance, manufacturing capacity, and supply risks.
• Experience in regulated medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare manufacturing environments preferred.
• MBA preferred.
• Supply chain certification such as APICS CPIM or CSCP preferred.
