Additionally, the infrastructure engineer may also support and develop specific platforms and will concentrate on unifying communications, messaging and identity toward a seamless user experience. Provide assistant to Service Desk team as escalation point supporting ITIL model.Position Responsibilities:Provide high quality, responsive and consistent resolutions to IT IncidentsServer administration Windows and Linux deploymentManaging the Infrastructure incident support queues activities on a day-to-day operational basis.On-premises infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, firewalls, routingIdentity and user management solutions provided by Azure or 3rd partyOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):Desired Certifications: VMware, Azure7-10 years of experience with Windows and Linux-based operating system configuration, automation, and management.5-7 years of experience with Automation scripting including PowerShell and other configuration as code toolsMinimum of 8 years of experience in Systems Administration/EngineeringBachelor’s degree in the field of Information Technology Management or related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceITIL V4+ Foundation knowledge and operations.Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies:Large enterprise-level experience in storage technologies supporting multiple Operating Systems and environments.Proficient with Systems performance tuning, capacity management and replicationAble to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where small teams share a broad variety of dutiesDisplays strong initiative and drive to accomplish goals and meet company objectivesTakes ownership and responsibility for current and past work productsIs committed to learning from mistakes and driven to improve and enhance performance of oneself, others, and the companyFocuses on teamwork and puts the success of the team above one's own interestsPhysical DemandsAbility to work in an office environment (Constant)Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)Clearance LevelNo ClearanceThe salary range for this role is:$91,000 - $138,750AeroVironment considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the location, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.ITAR Requirement:This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”).
