Facility Coordinator

Description

Clean Harbors in La Porte TX is seeking a Facility Coordinator to join our safety-conscious team. This position is responsible for coordinating a variety of administrative and operational functions within the facility including receiving shipping payroll support data entry supply management and general administrative duties.

The Facility Coordinator will work closely with facility leadership and employees to help ensure accurate records timely administrative support and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Work Schedule:

• Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Occasional Sunday work will be required based on business needs.
• This position is required to work on Monday holidays including holidays such as Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices policies and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
• Support facility payroll processes including entering UKG adjustments employee verification and administration of weekly payroll exception reports.
• Perform data entry using UKG WIN and/or local databases.
• Assist with receiving and shipping coordination and related administrative functions.
• Perform filing typing recordkeeping and other general clerical duties.
• Provide administrative support to facility supervisors and management.
• Manage supplies within the assigned area and maintain proper housekeeping and inventory practices.
• Ensure adherence to applicable Clean Harbors policies and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with applicable OSHA regulations and company Health & Safety and Compliance protocols.
• Perform job duties in accordance with Clean Harbors compliance standards.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required by management and the needs of the business.

Qualifications

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous administrative clerical facility coordination shipping/receiving or related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computer applications.
• Strong data-entry and computer skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and handle administrative information with attention to detail.
• Experience with UKG and WIN or similar business systems is a plus.
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to speak listen stand reach carry climb walk push and/or pull stoop crouch grasp and crawl as required.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• Near-vision acuity and ability to distinguish colors.
• Ability to perform duties within an industrial facility environment.
