Supportive Oncology Clinical Psychologist – Clinical Faculty Location: Chicago, Illinois Department: Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences Work Type: Full Time Position Overview Core member of the multidisciplinary cancer center teams, providing psychological evaluation and intervention for patients and their families across inpatient and ambulatory care settings, and supporting medical teams. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological evaluations and interventions for cancer patients and their families. Provide direct support to medical teams in inpatient and ambulatory cancer care settings. Develop and implement supportive oncology programs. Create and maintain clinical research and scholarship projects. Provide training and supervision to trainees in the department. Desired Qualifications Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA‑accredited program. Eligibility for Illinois psychology license. Strong clinical skills in psycho‑oncology or health psychology with medical populations. High potential for and interest in conducting research. Passion for compassionate, patient‑centered care in a collaborative academic medical setting. Benefits & Compensation Pay Range: $115,233 - $172,012 per year.
