- Maintain accurate and organized resident medical records
- File, scan, organize, and retrieve medical documentation
- Assist with medical record audits and ensure records are complete and accurate
- Support admissions, discharges, and record retention
- Enter and maintain information in the facility's electronic medical record system
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
- Work with nursing and other departments to obtain missing or required documentation
- Order, receive, organize, and distribute medical supplies
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and identify supply needs
- Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records
- Coordinate with vendors and assist with deliveries
- Distribute supplies to nursing and other departments
- Help ensure the facility has the supplies needed to provide quality resident care
- Previous experience in Medical Records, Central Supply, Healthcare Administration, Medical Office, Inventory, or a related role preferred
- Skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience is a plus
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working with computers and electronic medical records
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Professional communication skills
- Dependable, organized, and able to work independently
