Job Description
Registered Nurse - Acute Care

Schedule

Days, 36 hours per week. Shifts are from 7 AM to 7 PM. Holidays may be required as needed.

Assignment Details

Contract is for 26 weeks. May be required to float to other units.

Requirements

• Current state license or multistate license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications via AHA required
• No pending certifications or licenses allowed
• No hits on license
• Experience managing cardiac and anticoagulant drips
• Familiarity with EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

• Initiate admission orders
• Complete the admission navigator
• Document the initial admission assessment
• Provide efficient and effective nursing care in a fast-paced, acute care environment
• Demonstrate adaptability and strong time management skills
• Support rapid patient progression through the admission process
