This role will be instrumental in launching new office locations and managing multiple concurrent micro-projects within the Facilities department. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong project management skills while maintaining attention to detail across various facility initiatives. This position requires flexibility and willingness to travel regularly to support new office buildouts and ensure successful facility launches.Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities:Lead and manage new office launch projects from initial planning through commissioning and occupancyCoordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and landlords to ensure successful project deliveryManage multiple concurrent micro-projects including office renovations, space reconfigurations, equipment installations, and facility improvementsDevelop project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies for facility initiativesTravel to new and existing office locations to oversee construction progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure quality standardsCoordinate furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) procurement, delivery, and installation for new officesEnsure all facility projects comply with building codes, safety regulations, and X-energy standardsManage project budgets and track expenditures, providing regular financial updates to leadershipDevelop and maintain project documentation including schedules, progress reports, change orders, and closeout documentationFacilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadershipIdentify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues promptlySupport the Facilities team with space planning, workplace strategy, and operational improvementsCoordinate IT infrastructure, security systems, and building services for new locationsManage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for facility servicesMaintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.Perform other duties as assigned by manager.Job Profile Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related fieldTypically demonstrated by 10 plus yrs of relevent experience3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in facilities, construction, or real estateProven track record of successfully managing multiple concurrent projectsStrong understanding of office buildout processes, construction methodologies, and facility operationsExcellent organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize effectivelyStrong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organizationProficiency in project management software and tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar)Ability to travel frequently (up to 40-50%) to support new office launches and project oversight locallyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Valid driver's licenseLocation: 530 Gaither Road, Rockville, MDWork Site Expectations: 5 days in officeTravel Expectations: Up to 40% - 50% as needed for project assignment locallyHours: Standard office hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm ET, Monday - FridayCompensationAs required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.).
