Shipping Team MemberA national truck parts supplier is looking for a high energy "go getter" to work in shipping and join their team. The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for accurately pulling, packing and loading goods for shipment for an on-time delivery with oversight. This role primarily fills small parcel orders and customer pick-up (CPU) orders. This role involves communicating with internal teams, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient shipping operations.Shipping Team Member Responsibilities:Pull and verify orders with the highest qualityMaintain 200 lines per week and assessed by performance measures of fill rate and accuracy rate.Wrap orders and prepping stock to shipStoring and pulling materials in the warehouseAssist with regular cycle counts or stock audits as needed to maintain inventory accuracyLoading and unloading trucks as well as move stock with sit down forkliftComputer workWorking with FedEx and UPS as well as world ship softwareReceiving inventory and follow inventory guidelinesOperation of pallet jackWrap to ship per customer's requirementsAssisting throughout the whole shipping/receiving departmentAbility to lift heavy loads individually and with a teammate for heavier loadsSchedule & Pay :2nd shift 5pm-1:30am, Monday - Friday with overtime as required and typically voluntary on Saturday$19.00/HRShipping Team Member Qualifications:Previous forklift experience and pallet jack experience is a plusShipping and receiving experience is a plusComputer skillsLifting up to 70 lbsAble to wear multiple hats and shift gears quicklyComputer experience and the ability to enter details from paper to the computerHigh attention to detailsA diploma/GED or related experience is requiredLocation: Byron Center, MIPosition Type: Full Time, Evaluation to hire
