We are currently seeking an experienced:
Nursing Secretary
Job Description:
- Assures quality care by providing secretarial assistance to the nursing department.
- Provides supplies and equipment and maintenance of records related to supplies.
- Assists with entering MDS's quarterlies, and care plans into computer.
- Completes CNA's work schedule and assures adequate coverage.
- Stocks lab office and each nurse's station with supplies.
- Performs employee drug screening.
- Monitors daily lab reports.
- Helps with restorative nursing as needed.
- Assists with activities as needed.
Job Requirements:
- High school graduate.
- Some clerical/computer knowledge.
- Willing to perform routine repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.
- Ability to work and cooperate with other employees.
- Kind and respectful to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Valid NC drivers' license.
- Prefer C.N.A. certification.
