What You'll Do:

As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods, plated desserts, and pastries in alignment with M Street’s standards. You’ll work closely with the pastry leadership team to ensure consistency, cleanliness, and creativity in everything you do.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Prepare and execute pastry items including cakes, cookies, bread, and plated desserts
• Follow established recipes with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep area and pastry station
• Properly label, store, and rotate ingredients and finished items
• Assist with daily pastry production and support special event prep as needed
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with the pastry team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow

What We're Looking For:

• Prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen required
• Understanding of basic baking techniques and equipment
• A passion for quality and presentation
• Ability to follow directions and work independently or in a team
• Strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• A positive attitude and growth mindset
