Medical receptionist - part time

Our client is looking for a warm, reliable, and organized Part-Time Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our practice! In this role, you'll set the tone for our clinic by greeting patients with a friendly smile and keeping our front office running smoothly. You'll be a vital link between our patients and care team, ensuring everyone feels cared for from the moment they walk through the door. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love helping people, we'd love to have you on our team! PART TIME 9am-5:30pm M/W/F 24hrs per week

salary: $18 - $20 per hour

work hours: 9 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Patient Check-In: Warmly greet patients, verify demographic and insurance details, and manage the waiting area flow.
• Appointment Scheduling: Handle incoming phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-outs efficiently.
• Front Office Admin: Collect co-pays, process patient paperwork, and keep electronic health records (EHR) up to date.
• Clinic Coordination: Partner with nurses and providers to manage patient arrival flow and respond to patient inquiries.
