TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Indianapolis, Indiana, 46202!

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 6-8 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience required License: State license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Trauma Level I experience required; circulation experience required; scrub experience preferred. Description: This is a weekend position requiring the traveler to work every Saturday and Sunday. The traveler will also work one rotating weekday each week. The schedule is 6-8 weeks long. Call is required, and holidays are mandatory. No block scheduling is available. First-time travelers are accepted. Travelers may float within scope to meet facility needs. Two out of three major holidays must be worked. The average daily census in the unit is 70-80 patients. Unit specialties include general surgery, trauma, neuro, and orthopedic procedures among others. Travelers should be well-rounded and current in most areas except cardiovascular and transplant surgery. The surgical team utilizes the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System. Candidates are expected to be proficient in a variety of surgical procedures and techniques. Candidates must be prepared to float as needed. No temporary licenses will be accepted; the state license must be in hand prior to the start date. Two supervisory references are required for submission.
