Role Description The Licensed Insurance Agent is a full-time role based in Tempe, AZ with a hybrid work arrangement, combining in-office client meetings and team collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients to assess their insurance needs, recommending appropriate coverage options, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through policy issuance. The agent will handle inbound and outbound calls, provide responsive customer service, process applications and policy changes, and maintain accurate records in the agency’s systems. This role also involves staying current on product offerings, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements, as well as participating in marketing and outreach activities to develop new business and retain existing clients. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage to effectively advise clients and close policies. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Insurance products and related industry practices to guide clients with accurate information. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Finance to explain coverage options, premiums, and long-term financial impacts. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to build trust, resolve questions, and maintain long-term client relationships. Active state insurance license (or eligibility to obtain) required; additional lines of authority are a plus. Strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills, with attention to detail and follow-through. Comfort with CRM or agency management software and basic office productivity tools.
