Business Immigration Analyst (Paralegal)

Job Overview Fragomen’s Business Immigration Analyst position offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact on our business, while providing training, development and long-term growth opportunities. In this role you will work in an exciting, dynamic and challenging environment focused exclusively on immigration. Responsibilities Learn about various types of immigration matters and build knowledge of firm immigration case types and client processes. Prepare and file petitions with government agencies, including document gathering, review, case drafting, and filing. Communicate with foreign nationals and client contacts, providing clear and prompt responses regarding case status or general inquiries. Meet assigned deadlines that adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and keep supervisors informed of case progress, status and escalations. Compile and summarize large quantities of data within case management systems for reporting to clients, managers and team members. Understand and contribute to team and individual productivity goals. Demonstrate flexibility and initiative in a fast-paced environment. Follow documented firm standards and policies to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory, operational and client compliance (e.g., data privacy protocols, accurate use of Connect, and client protocols). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, Paralegal certification OR experience in a customer-facing or client-service-oriented role. Client-service mindset, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands. Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and appropriately escalte case issues to a supervisor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading documents and drafting fluent prose without reliance on AI engines. Experience using various computer systems, including MS Word and Excel. Desire to contribute to a positive work environment, effectively collaborate and promote teamwork. Benefits & Compensation Compensation Salary range: $52,000-62,000, with hybrid office work. Additional benefits include 401K, paid time off and other benefit programs.
