Position Overview: We are seeking multiple experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Managers to oversee our long-term care units. This leadership role involves supervising nursing staff, ensuring high standards of care, and serving as a key liaison between residents, families, and upper management. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all supervisory duties within the unit to ensure smooth operations. Assist in establishing and implementing employment policies and procedures. Mentor and provide clinical and career guidance to less experienced nursing staff. Maintain and uphold the standards of care for the unit. Review resident records and assess quality of care. Monitor overall care delivery and review individual residents cases. Address inquiries or complaints from residents and their families effectively and compassionately. Represent the interests of the unit with upper-level management. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care. At least 2 years of experience in a unit management role. Valid RN License in New York. Basic computer skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Viable applicants must live within a reasonable daily commuting distance of Bronx, NY.
