Ultrasound Technician

Job description:

West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a US Tech to be out in the field!

Must be willing to drive within Dallas area.

US Tech is responsible for performing ultrasound to patients in their respective homes 1 day a week, as well as materials management, scribing, and performing chart checks. Responsible for obtaining data/metrics to facilitate our financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth.

Essential Job Functions

• Operating equipment

• Perform ultrasound on wound patients

• Image interpretation

• Patient interaction

• Documentation and reporting • Order medical supplies.

• Scribe for respective doctors.

• Prepare patients for procedures.

• Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients.

• Scribe for skin sweeps.

• Make Initial Assessment calls.

Qualifications

• Valid US Tech Certification

• 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred

• Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills

• Strong awareness of medical terminology

• Strong desire for patient care

Job Type: Full-time - 1099

Schedule: • Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm

Pay Structure (1099):

• Guaranteed base pay of $960-$1,080 per week
• Base is calculated at $32-$36/patient visit for a minimum of 6 patients per day
• $32-$36 per additional patient visit for any visits beyond the daily base
