Wood Assembler/Carpenter
Build Various Sized Wooden Crates:
- i.e., nail and staple guns, power drills, grinders, and hammers.
- Use tape measure to ensure the measurements match the cut sheet up to 1/8th inch.
- Safe ladder use required when assembling the tops (caps) of crates.
- May need to assemble bases or skids for crates on the ground. This requires use of a 20 pound, 3.5-inch nail gun while crouching and/or kneeling.
- Able to read, interpret, find, and document possible cut sheet and/or stenciling errors.
- Use of adhesives to apply foam to wood crates and conduct specification checks.
- Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures.

- Follow all procedures, policies and understand equipment use, before use.
- To ensure safety, report equipment defects and/or maintenance needs to your supervisor.
