Manufacturing Engineer

Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:Design processes that ensure compliance with MESH (Eaton’s Environmental, Health, Safety process) and other Eaton and industry standard practicesDrive facility capability and capacity improvement through Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other processes to support efficiency improvement and sales growth.Support and execute capital plan to support capability, capacity, and efficiency to develop new key plant processes in support of sales growth and product line expansionProvides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules and requirements, estimating future requirementsWork directly with direct manufacturing labor to troubleshoot and improve processes, including fabrication, assembly, measuring, and testing of products produced.Manage activities and budgets for manufacturing and process improvement projects, including the development of the project management requirements and all implementation documentation.Develop and implementing cost reduction initiatives utilizing continuous improvement frameworkCollect and analyze manufacturing data and metrics to aid in design and improvement of processes.Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety responsibilities by following established MESH policies, procedures, trainings, and team member involvement activitiesProactively implement, promote, and maintain a safe working environment, through diligence in accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, corrective action implementation and Zero Incident culture enforcement.Manage the creation of standard work and standard cycle timesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.Minimum of one (1) year of Relevant Engineering experienceRelocation benefits are being offered for this position. Candidates that currently reside or are willing to relocate within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered.
