About the Role
The Company is in need of an Interim In-House Counsel to provide essential legal support. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of legal matters, with a focus on contracts, litigation, and claims, as well as labor and employment issues. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial agreements, including those specific to the healthcare industry. The Interim In-House Counsel will also be involved in monitoring and managing litigation, as well as providing enterprise training on legal and compliance matters. Applicants for the Interim In-House Counsel position at the company should have a minimum of 3 years' of relevant experience, a J.D. degree, and an active license to practice law. While prior experience with the specific legal needs of the company is not mandatory, a background in healthcare law is essential. The role requires the ability to work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and be comfortable with the legal aspects of HR, including policy support, investigations, and related claims. The company is open to training attorneys with broad healthcare experience, and any related healthcare experience will be considered.
