Registered Nurse - Med Surg Telemetry (Contract Position)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a Med Surg Telemetry unit. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on surgical recovery and telemetry monitoring. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate with a cohesive team.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide post-surgical care and support to patients and families.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records using Meditech EMR.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in Med/Surg and telemetry nursing preferred.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required; advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification preferred.
