Safety & Compliance Lead

American Landscape is seeking a dedicated Safety Compliance Lead to join our team. Qualified personnel will oversee and enforce safety policies, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct audits, and foster a culture of workplace safety across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of worksites and facilities.
• Ensure certified, department training is being maintained company-wide
• Lead safety training sessions and ensure all employees are informed of safety protocols.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training activities.
• Work with HR and facilities teams to integrate safety into all business processes.
• Collaborate with management and staff to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to workplace safety.
• Work with trusted safety organizations
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience of 3 or more years in safety compliance, workplace safety, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough inspections and detailed incident investigations.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
• CSP a plus.
