Quality and Technical Support Specialist

Job Details: Level: Experienced; Job Location: SPR Packaging Rockwall - Rockwall, TX 75087; Education Level: 4 Year Degree; Job Shift: Day. Company Overview SPR Packaging is a manufacturer of flexible packaging located in Rockwall, Texas. We supply printed plastic bags to major manufacturers in the US, in markets such as: Bakery, Ice, Consuming products, Tortilla and Lawn & Garden. Position Description This person will provide technical assistance to customers and the sales team. Support quality control, sales, and R&D departments by providing on-site technical expertise related to customer complaints and approval processes. Duties Assess packaging equipment set up and performance. Evaluate how SPR films and bags run on various lines. Troubleshoot and identify opportunities to improve product compatibility and efficiency. Lead root cause investigations for quality control claims.Collaborate on product development and improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge. Ability to interact confidently with operators, engineers, plant managers and purchasing teams. Will work cross functionally to enhance product performance and strengthen customer relationship. Provide opportunities for SPR’s flexible packaging and agriculture solutions. Positive and energetic individuals that can work well with all levels of an organization; must be able to get along well with others and willing to work long hours when needed. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills – both written and oral. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications – MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint. Experience with industrial packaging equipment is preferred but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Spr Packaging
