Requirements

Outpatient Surgery Unit, Pre-Op RN, Variable Shift, 3 12's, start time 0500, 0700 or 0800. Monday-Friday Variable Days - 6 week schedules so will know ahead of time, ACLS, PALS, 2 years in Pre op/Perioperative (Not OR), NO call required.

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate Degree(A.S.) or equivalent: Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred

• Completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia class with passing score: Required

• Minimum 6 months experience in medical surgical nursing in last 2 years: Preferred

• Minimum of one year experience in pre and post op diagnostic cath lab: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current RN license in state of practice: Required

• Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

• Advanced Cardiovascular?Life Support (ACLS OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS OR HS-PALS OR RQIPALS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required

• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required

• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS: Required
