Project Manager (Bulk Gas/Spec Gas/Harsh Chemistry) - Semiconductor Construction

The Project Manager serves as the Owner’s Representative responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of semiconductor facility projects with a strong focus on Bulk Gas and Specialty Gas/Harsh Chemistry systems infrastructure. This role supports gas system expansions, tool install tie‑ins, distribution systems, and associated facilities upgrades, ensuring work is executed safely and in alignment with project requirements, operational constraints, and regulatory standards. The Project Manager coordinates across engineering, construction, operations, and gas suppliers to manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality, while ensuring critical gas systems are delivered and integrated to support manufacturing operations without disruption. Minimum Qualifications Field management experience, bachelor's degree, or experience working as a Foreman. Experience in Semiconductor, Biopharmaceutical, Food & Beverage, Mission Critical, or other Manufacturing industries. Organized, detail-oriented, and strong focus on accuracy. Flexible and able to respond well to changing conditions. Strong communication skills with the ability to schedule and host planning meetings with various stakeholders to ensure all schedule activities are understood and executed to plan. Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a good understanding of construction project scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to act and operate independently with minimal supervision. On‑site position, Monday to Friday with some overtime. Tasks and Responsibilities Manage environmental health and safety for suppliers onsite, such as JHA inspections, PTP, and SIPP documentation. Manage and supervise construction for projects ranging from $50,000 to $30,000,000 (potentially several at the same time). Work with project management staff to assess field needs and safety needs. Provide regular project updates to project team and stakeholders (emails, photos, conference calls). Review the project daily logs and assist with corrections needed. Provide design assistance and review at all stages of design; assist with design solutions during design and programming phases. Monitor and maintain daily logs, job photos, and videos. Schedule and attend project meetings and prepare meeting minutes. Assist with the overall project scheduling. Schedule and conduct project job walks with the team. Coordinate trades in the field and ensure work plans are received and assessed. Work with suppliers to facilitate material handling and expediting delivery. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. Meet daily with project crews to review the production schedule and confirm all materials, equipment and resources are readily available to maintain schedule and budget. Evaluate daily production, schedule and budget projections to accurately track project performance. Initiate and manage various certificates, inspections, and project site markups (isolation plans, LOTO points, barricade plan, material flow plan, phasing plans). Conduct required Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedule and crews as needed. Track and follow up on open items – RFIs and submittals. Assist with and review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and allowance utilizations. Maintain strong working partnerships with general contractors and subcontractors. Provide QA/QC of installations in the field, with weekly write‑ups of correction notices. Assist with change management and estimate review. Review QA/QC reports from the general contractor and ensure adherence to project specifications. Become familiar with all project plans and specifications. Preside over weekly contractor, OAC, design, and work progress meetings. Perform job progress and completion punch list identification and completion. Ensure job site is kept clean and organized. Assist with project close‑out.
