Phlebotomist-Miami

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or at least 3 months experience as a phlebotomist. One year or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred). Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training must be from an accredited agency. Must pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Work Schedule Monday-Saturday, as needed. Variable schedule (no more than 19 hours in a week).
