Plasma Center Nurse- LPN

Job Description BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician. Key responsibilities: Determine donor eligibility for plasma donation, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis. Manage donor adverse events and evaluate donor reactions per SOPs. Review laboratory test results and notify donors of unsuitable results. Provide medical guidance to donors and report unacceptable findings to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs. Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats. Provide center-level support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) as directed by BioLife Medical Affairs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements. Current state license or certification as LPN or LVN in the state of assignment. Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy. Completion of FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Minimum two years of clinical or hospital experience. Compensation and Benefits U.S. hourly wage range: $24.32 - $33.44.
