Job Overview Senior Systems Engineer in the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) discipline, 100% on‑site at Eglin AFB, FL. The role involves working across the lifecycle of weapon systems, collaborating with engineering disciplines, and ensuring system integration and test success. What You Will Do Missile hardware/software integration, including assembly, documentation, testing, and reprogramming. Operation and maintenance of special test equipment and test vehicles in an engineering lab environment. Extensive use of COMSEC equipment, AIS computers, and telemetry equipment. Maintaining and reconfiguring munitions, monitoring weapon telemetry in a control‑room environment. Performing flight‑line operations and communicating directly to customers daily. Capable of lifting at least 25 lbs. and performing work in an industrial environment. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience. Hardware systems integration experience. Weapons systems integration experience onto an aircraft military platform. Weapons system flight test experience with aircraft. Experience with troubleshooting and failure analysis. Experience with the use of lab/field test equipment. Experience supporting field tests. Qualifications We Prefer Active and existing DoD clearance strongly preferred. Telemetry data collection and data analysis experience. Experience integrating RF/EO sensor output (modulated waveforms or streams of digital samples) for real‑time representation of RF/EO scenes. Test system design experience and collaboration across electrical, electronics, mechanical, software, and computer engineering disciplines. Experience integrating with test equipment, telemetry data‑analysis software, and missile systems host platforms. Experience managing and presenting technical data to stakeholders and customers in design reviews and technical interchange meetings. Experience supporting field tests and/or evaluating requirements. Knowledge of MIL‑STD‑1553 and MIL‑STD‑1760 interfaces. Ability to perform successfully in an open environment with frequent interaction with government customers and peers. What We Offer Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD (range varies by experience, education, and role responsibilities).
