Penn Apartment Staffing is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition to support our recruitment efforts and office operations.

Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in driving candidate flow and achieving hiring goals by conducting daily interviews and proactively sourcing qualified talent. This individual is responsible for maintaining a strong pipeline of candidates to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and for onboarding new hires efficiently. In addition to leading the interview and recruitment process, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will support recruitment events, coordinate onboarding efforts, and assist with administrative tasks. Success in this role requires a proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Screen incoming resumes and application forms to identify qualified candidates.
• Enter applicant data into the Applicant Tracking System and maintain accurate records
• Conduct background screenings, verify previous employment, and manage onboarding, including I-9 verification.
• Promote job openings via the company website, social media platforms, job boards, and other relevant channels.
• Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events to attract potential candidates.
• Responsible for updating job ads.
• Conduct candidate interviews Monday through Friday, with the objective of aligning qualified candidates with current openings and preparing them for immediate placement.
• Greet visitors warmly, manage identification forms, distribute applications, and guide applicants through the application process.
• Provide support for general inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Provide comprehensive administrative support, including routine clerical tasks.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:

• Able to interact with and build relationships with individuals at all levels - peers, clients, and upper management.
• Familiar with Microsoft software, including Excel, Word, and other Office applications
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) Required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
