PMX is at the forefront of the converging marketplace building data-informed, tech-enabled media to help marketers connect with consumers in a measurable way.As a Senior Analyst on the Data Operations team, you will help our team build a robust foundation of reporting and analytics and help internal and external clients make better decisions by taking advantage of known data-driven techniques. This role is cross-functional in nature as not only will you be responsible for generating end-to-end insights but also will be managing several resources to take on already structured processes. In addition, one of the most important requirements is driving bottom-line growth through ensuring operational efficiencies.The candidate must have strong technical skills in relational databases, API data extraction, programming in various analytics software such as R or Python, automate data pipelines, build aesthetic / analytically profound / easy to understand visualizations using software such as Tableau to tell stories and provide recommendations that can help end-users to optimize on their key performance indicators.ResponsibilitiesLead reporting / analytical end-to-end project initiatives including project management, executive communication, defining deliverables, designing data pipelines, task delegation, resource managementCollaborating with agency, product, campaign management teams to define, plan, delegate processes for end deliverablesDevelop data pipelines with processes ranging from mining, extracting, cleansing, transforming to building automatable reporting and analytics dashboardsDeliver complex actionable analytical solutions involving heavy data setsContribute in the discovery and expansion of new and existing methodologies, tools, and algorithmsManage limited data engineering initiatives including setup relational databases, store, process clean dataManage / coach / train offshore reporting and analytics resources to ensure already outlined project tasks are fulfilled and solid communication with key stakeholders is taking placeCommunicate / present analytical findings and recommendations to audiences ranging from executives to working level team membersQualificationsEducation:2+ years of experience in Data Analytics or Data Engineering, proficiency with analytics software and related educationUndergraduate degree in Math, Analytics/Business Intelligence, Statistics, Software Engineering or other quant related fieldPreferred Graduate degree in Statistics, Business Intelligence, Software Engineering or related fieldSkills:Preferred Experience with platforms such as Display Platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk), Social Platforms (Facebook / Instagram / Tiktok), Search Platforms (Google / Bing), Big Data cloud environments and other similar CRM platformsAdvanced Proficiency in SQL with strong understanding of relational database constructsAdvanced Proficiency in programming software (Python)Proficiency with data visualization tools such as PowerBI / TableauProficiency with MS Office products in particular Excel skills (Macros, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot)Alteryx data cleansing/pipelining is a plusPreferred Experience in AWS tools such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, Amazon WorkMail, EC2Preferred Experience in Databricks in building automated data pipelinesPreferred Experience using AI-powered automation tools to streamline data processing, reporting and QAExperience:Excellent quantitative and analytical skills including pipelining, cleansing, structuring, manipulating, automating, and analyzing data of various typesHave applied analytics and reporting experience implementing and supporting data platforms to support internal stakeholders and clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, able to share technical results and recommendations to audiences at varying levels of analytic understanding. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
