Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Froedtert and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Froedtert.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - One to three years’ experience as a cardiac sonographer is required.

Required Credentials: - Completion of a two-year Allied Health degree. - Successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved School of Ultrasound Technology, or Cardiovascular Technology, or equivalent education.

Preferred Credentials: - Previous healthcare-related training such as CNA, EMT, PCA, or other is preferred.

Unit Details: - Performs transthoracic echocardiograms and sets up and assists with transesophageal echocardiograms; under the direction of a trained echocardiographer, sets up and performs exercise and Dobutamine stress echocardiograms. - Routine and emergency echocardiograms include 2-dimensional, 3-dimensional, Doppler, and transesophageal studies for a primarily adult population. - Uses selected transducers, digital networking systems, and off-line analysis systems; prepares preliminary reports for cardiologist review and comparison with previous studies. - Prepares and instructs patients pre- and post-procedure and utilizes ultrasound contrast according to ASE guidelines and department policy.

Shift & Scheduling: - No nights or call. - No weekends.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certifications RCS, ACS, CI
