Physics Professor/Researcher (PhD)

Apply advanced physics expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems through rigorous, educationally valuable scientific content. This remote contract role combines research, teaching, and clear written analysis across physics topics. No prior AI experience is required. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review physics problems, solutions, and explanatory content across a broad range of sub-disciplines.
• Evaluate model outputs for scientific validity, clarity, and educational value.
• Provide high-level feedback on complex research topics and theoretical concepts.
• Assess and improve AI-generated explanations for accuracy and pedagogical effectiveness.
• Collaborate remotely with project leads and subject-matter experts to standardize content-review practices.
• Write clear, concise feedback and contribute to asynchronous discussions on project progress.
• Use teaching and research experience to ensure deliverables are authentic, rigorous, and academically sound.

• PhD in Physics, or current pursuit of a Physics PhD combined with advanced research and teaching experience.
• Expertise in theoretical and applied physics.
• Experience with physics research and teaching.
• Demonstrated teaching, curriculum-development, or academic mentoring experience.
• Experience publishing and critically reviewing scientific research.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and clarity.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• Experience with interdisciplinary projects or educational technology is a plus.

• Remote contract engagement.

• $70 to $90 per hour.
