Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Set up surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures. Maintain a sterile environment and sterilize all instruments before surgery. Pass instruments and supplies to the surgeon and assist with various tasks. Count and manage sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures. Help position and drape patients appropriately for surgery. Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal‑breakers. You must have: High School Diploma or equivalent required Current BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted) upon hire and maintain current Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus: Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in various surgical specialties Graduation from an ORT training program within 6 months of hire or on the job training with a minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical setting Employment Status Per Diem Shift Days Equal Employment Opportunity Company is an equal employment opportunity employer.
