Job Description Take the next step in your career and join us as a New Truck Trailer sales representative! The Trailer Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting and generating sales as well as developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships with existing clients. Principal Responsibilities Develop a thorough knowledge of trailers and pricing Review inventory on a daily basis Identify leads, manage prospects, and acquire new business Develop and implement digital sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize online sales opportunities Identify and pursue new business opportunities through social media platforms, online marketplaces, and other digital channels Create compelling digital content, including product descriptions, images, and videos, to attract and engage customers Meet or exceed new business sales goals Complete prospecting activities to secure first and follow‑up appointments with decision‑makers Prepare and deliver proposals/presentations to customers and key decision‑makers Prepare and draft sales agreements and other paperwork needed to complete the sale in a timely manner Check credit of potential customers Introduce customers and prospective customers to VVG’s financing department Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly Provide and generate all documents related to credit approval Ensure trailers are ready, repaired, clean, and presentable for purchasing customers Required Qualifications Present and communicate in a professional manner Excellent written and verbal communication skills Be organized with good time‑management skills Possess proven analytical/problem‑solving skills for the customer and company Have above‑average computer proficiency Have previous sales experience in the trailer industry or heavy‑duty truck industry Have experience in developing and executing sales strategies Possess strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills Hold a valid driver’s license and a good driving record Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds at times (if applicable) Pass post‑offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check Compensation Base salary: $65,000 per year + commissions Industry‑leading commission plan, uncapped.
