In this role, you’ll expand your expertise by engaging with a range of caseloads spanning PK–12, with opportunities to specialize in early childhood or bilingual tracks. You’ll tackle daily challenges in collaboration with dedicated educators, families, and students—building your skill set in assessment, direct therapy, assistive technology, and teamwork.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA CCC certification
• Eligible for or holding active RIDE PK-12 SLP Certification
• Experience in school-based settings (SLP-CCC required; SLPAs/CFs not considered)
• Adaptability to diverse student needs and caseload size
• Tech-savvy and comfortable managing AAC/assistive devices
• Strong collaborative skills and cultural competence

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy for a varied, fluid caseload (approx. 60 students, may peak higher)
• Conduct assessments and develop/implement IEPs
• Set up and manage AAC/assistive tech devices
• Advise parents and collaborate with classroom teachers on instructional strategies
• Maintain thorough documentation and compliance
