Termite Technician Termite Technicians use their expertise to play a role in protecting customers' properties from wood destroying organisms. As a Termite Technician you are the first line of defense in preserving and safeguarding customers' properties. The inspections, prevention, and treatment services that you provide will create peace of mind and comfort for our customers. Responsibilities Identify customer's termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps Perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices Apply anti‑termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions. Communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity, discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process Verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment Complete production forms documenting services provided Interact with customers and explain services provided Essential Job Functions Tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations Prepare the job site for treatment Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces; climb over and on top of structures; ascend and descend stairs and ladders Be comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in small confined spaces General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is a plus Ability to work on roofs and high areas Move around regularly – sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator, and work regularly in confined spaces and narrow aisles or passageways where termites live Qualifications Clean shaven face – required for safety reasons (rebreathers must be able to seal your face) High school diploma or GED Pass pre‑employment background screen Valid driver's license/clean driving record (company vehicle and gas card provided) At least 1 year of customer service experience; experience in termite control is a plus Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Be flexible with working hours, Monday‑Friday and Saturdays as needed Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations (covered by us) Basic math skills – add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; be able to follow instructions for mixing on product labels Pay Range Hourly: $16.90 – $20.00 Benefits Multiple avenues to grow your career Training and development programs available Tuition reimbursement benefits (for full‑time colleagues) Full‑time colleagues eligible to begin enrollment immediately upon hire (benefits start on day 1) Health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, plus additional benefits 401(k) retirement plan with company‑matching contributions Vacation days and sick days Company‑paid holidays and floating holidays Company mindset that prioritizes health, safety, and flexibility We are looking for individuals who want to make a difference where our customers live and work.
