Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic retail mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour Job Schedule Mon: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sat: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptive behavior within the location. Support retail location operations by assisting with access control, crowd management, lost and found inquiries, and other customer-facing security-related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
