Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. In this people-first role, you will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile and reliable presence to daily operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting store leadership and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, stockroom, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor customer and employee activity, observe for suspicious behavior, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures. Support access control and asset protection practices by observing entry and exit points, assisting with incident documentation, and communicating clearly with team members and store personnel. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
