Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | 36 Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday per Department Rotation | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
• Document patient information and care delivery accurately using Epic EHR
• Respond to emergent and critical patient situations in accordance with department protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Must reside 75 or more miles from the facility (no local contracts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in an Emergency Department setting
• Ability to adapt to rotating weekend and holiday schedules
