Sr Project Manager (Mandatory: Must reside in the state of: ND, AK, ID or UT. - then work is remote) This is a contract to hire option. Must be US Citizen or Green Card. Candidate will focus on Health plan Affiliation project with an emphasis in the provider space: contracting, credentialing, provider data, and Availability/portal capabilities. The Sr. Project Manager will lead large-scale projects or multiple concurrent projects from inception through successful close-out. This individual will have end-to-end accountability for ensuring project objectives remain aligned with business strategy and that agreed requirements are delivered on schedule, within budget, and at the expected level of quality.

This is a senior project leadership position requiring PM to develop project plans and estimates, establish milestones and measures, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage scope and resources, control costs, proactively identify risks and issues, facilitate decisions, and maintain alignment among business sponsors, customers, leadership, and project teams.

Requirements

• The successful candidate should demonstrate a progressive portfolio of project-management accomplishments with at least five years of project and/or program management experience, including leadership of large-scale and concurrent initiatives.
• Experience should include responsibility for projects greater than $1 million and teams of 10 or more, consistent with the requirements provided in the JD.
• Candidates should demonstrate actual accomplishments involving project planning, budgeting, change management, client management, resource allocation, risk management, scope control, schedule management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication.
• Familiarity with the PMI Guide and PMBOK is required. A Project Management certificate is strongly preferred, and PMP certification is a strong plus .
• Candidates must also demonstrate strong leadership of multidisciplinary teams, the ability to work with business sponsors and partners, experience presenting to multiple levels of management, and a history of meeting project budget, timeline, and requirement commitments.
• Experience mentoring and developing the project-management skills of other project managers is also important given the leadership expectations of the position.
• Success means this individual is recognized as the project leader who can take a large, complex, potentially troubled initiative and create the structure, leadership, accountability, and decision-making required to get it successfully across the finish line.
