Senior Oncology Specialist at Amgen. Overview Amgen, a leader in biotech, is seeking an experienced Senior Oncology Specialist to serve as the primary liaison to medical professionals and drive sales of innovative oncology treatments. Responsibilities Act as the primary customer contact to deliver clinical and economic benefits of Amgen’s oncology products to medical professionals. Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, including branded sales messages, program execution, educational program scheduling and follow‑ups, and attainment of sales targets. Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, ensuring product access, resolving reimbursement and contract issues. Develop marketing strategies to drive product visibility and sales. Analyze sales activities and territory performance, and collaborate with District Manager to refine territory plans. Maintain product knowledge and passion throughout the sales cycle, reinforcing brand and patient focus. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, foster continuous learning, and advance professional growth. Qualifications Minimum education: High School/GED. Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales or clinical experience in healthcare or scientific field; or Associate degree and 6 years; or High school diploma/ GED and 8 years. Experience in oncology sales or related pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical device or healthcare sectors is preferred. 3+ years of sales and/or marketing experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare or medical device industries. Experience in oncology product or hospital sales in specialties such as nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, inflammation, neurology, endocrinology, hepatology, gastroenterology or infectious diseases. Local market knowledge. Strong planning, organizing, business knowledge, communication, results orientation and relationship cultivation. Preferred Qualifications Preferred experience in oncology. A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration. Benefits Competitive annual salary range: $158,727 – $177,179 (U.S. – exclusive of Puerto Rico).
