Mid-Level Integrated Planning and Scheduling Analyst Company: The Boeing Company Location: Kennedy Space Center, Florida Job Overview Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Integrated Planning and Scheduling Analyst located at Kennedy Space Center, Florida. This position will be a part of Space and Mission Systems (SMS) supporting Experimental Systems Group (ESG). We are seeking a motivated career-driven professional to support program and portfolio scheduling initiatives in a growing product area. In this role, you will support our Government Satellite Programs Integrated Product Teams within the Seal Beach BDS Campus. You will draw upon your experience in all aspects of the government programs including production programs, development programs, agile software programs, and Project Server portfolio management. As an Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) team member, you will be required to develop proposal plans and schedules, baseline execution schedules, maintain the in-work schedules, perform critical path analysis and what-if planning, and support the delivery of our IPMR Format 6 deliverables. Position Responsibilities Creates, maintains, and monitors detailed, short-term and long-term production schedules using Microsoft Project Server. Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards. Performs analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives. Creates schedule reports/metrics, manages change activity, and communicates updates to the plan regularly throughout the lifecycle of the program. Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers. Assists customers to develop performance recovery plans ensuring all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders. Identify performance variances, bottleneck issues, or potential scheduling impacts; proactively develop and implement recovery plans. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) 1+ years of experience with standard project scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project/Project Server, Open Plan Professional or Primavera Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent tools), with the ability to perform calculations and analyze data in Excel Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address unexpected scheduling conflicts Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Bachelor's degree or higher Active TS/SCI Clearance or T-5 SSBI 1+ years of experience in performing project planning and scheduling within an aerospace manufacturing environment Demonstrated knowledge of the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process Demonstrated knowledge of Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) Demonstrated ability to balance technical/cost/schedule constraints to achieve customer satisfaction Experience with Department of Defense customer communities and their project management practices Demonstrated knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing workflows Conflict of Interest Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
