Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$2570.40/week - Job Summary: Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in the Operating Room. The nurse will assist in surgical procedures, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with the surgical team to deliver outstanding outcomes. Responsibilities: Evaluate patients pre-operatively to assess their medical history and readiness for surgery. Prepare the operating room by sterilizing equipment and setting up surgical instruments. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile environment. Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during surgery. Document all patient care activities accurately in medical records. Educate patients and their families about pre- and post-operative care instructions. Qualifications: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license. Valid CPR/BLS certification. ACLS certification preferred. Proven experience in operating room nursing or perioperative care. Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team.
