Position Summary:

KBR is seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Operations and Decision Support Specialist to enhance leadership effectiveness through operational coordination, workflow optimization, and decision-support activities. This role supports senior leadership by synchronizing priorities, managing executive actions, improving staff processes, and ensuring leaders have the information, materials, and coordination needed to make timely and informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support senior leadership through executive operations, staff integration, and decision-support activities.
• Synchronize leadership priorities, internal workflows, and staff actions to improve organizational responsiveness and execution.
• Coordinate leadership engagements, internal activities, and key events in alignment with mission priorities and leadership intent.
• Prepare, refine, and quality-check decision-support materials, read-aheads, agendas, correspondence, and briefing packages for senior leaders.
• Track actions, suspense items, and stakeholder inputs to ensure timely completion and leadership visibility.
• Facilitate information flow across leadership, staff, and external stakeholders to support effective coordination and decision-making.
• Support battle rhythm management, meeting execution, follow-up actions, and continuity of operations across the organization.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks, coordination gaps, and process inefficiencies; recommend and implement improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Support leadership engagements and associated coordination requirements, as needed.
• Maintain coordination tools, tracking mechanisms, and internal processes that improve organizational awareness, accountability, and execution.
• Support internal communications, leadership interactions, and staff integration efforts across the organization.
• Ensure products and coordination actions are accurate, professional, timely, and aligned with leadership expectations.

Work Environment:

• Location: On-site (Eglin AFB, FL)
• Travel Requirements: Minimal to none
• Working Hours: Standard - Core hours 0900 - 1500

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active SECRET clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience supporting executive operations, staff coordination, organizational planning, office management, or leadership support in a professional environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track actions, and support suspense-driven workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft and refine executive correspondence, meeting materials, and decision-support products.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and operate effectively in a high-visibility environment.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive or executive-level information.
• Ability to identify process inefficiencies and support workflow improvements that enhance organizational effectiveness.
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to anticipate leadership and staff requirements.
• Ability to operate independently and manage coordination challenges with minimal oversight.

Desired:

• Experience supporting senior executives, military leaders, or Government leadership teams.
• Experience in a defense, Government, or mission-oriented organization.
• Familiarity with staff action management, task tracking, executive battle rhythms, and leadership coordination processes.
• Experience preparing executive briefings, read-aheads, correspondence, and senior leader engagement materials.
• Experience supporting high-level meetings, visits, and leadership engagements.
