Manufacturing Test Technician Level 1

Manufacturing Test Technician Level 1 Location: Austin, TX Job ID: 47839 This position requires a highly organized repair technician competent in mechanics to troubleshoot and repair computing hardware, software, and electronics to support our customers before and after the sale. The primary function is repair, but as a member of the technical support team the technician backs up coworkers in technical support related to end‑user questions and general administration. Responsibilities Post‑Sales repairing adhering to SLA Validating RMA, receipt, analyzing and repairing Evolis products Creating and sending intervention report (RMA analysis report) Creating and sending RMA repair quotation Referring technical/Quality problems to HQ R&D and/or Quality department Providing technical support to Level 1 end‑user via email and phone Using Salesforce to maintain support cases and adhere to all SLAs Participating in weekly technical support meetings Centralizing and diffusing technical information internally and externally Participating to test sessions Reporting results to Evolis France Reviewing and revising training products Refurbishing printer Qualifications Training and/or diploma from technical school with focus in electronics and mechanics Minimum 2 years experience in similar position as a Repair Technician and/or Technical Support Ability to work independently, with rigor, analytical mind, and reactivity Knowledge of mechanics, electronics, and computer science Customer oriented, pedagogical, with good interpersonal skills Quality of repair and respect of Evolis commitments (SLA) Quality referent to report issues with Evolis HQ Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus Benefits Competitive salary and rewards package Competitive benefits and annual leave offering, allowing for work‑life balance A vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive culture Extensive career development opportunities and resources to maximize your potential Opportunity to be part of a global organization that pioneers hardware, software, and services that allow people to confidently navigate the physical and digital worlds Eligibility Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to reside and work in the hiring country.
