Manager, Marketing & Communications

You will work directly with the Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications to build and execute our marketing and communications strategies. This is a unique opportunity for a hands-on, adaptable professional who is fluent-and forward-leaning-in AI-driven marketing and communications tools, and who thrives wearing multiple hats in a fast-scaling environment.

You'll be a utility player, comfortable flexing across media relations, executive communications, content creation, sales collateral, events, and investor relations support. You'll collaborate closely with Business Development, Program Management, and other cross-functional teams. As the team grows, you'll have the opportunity to specialize and help define future roles.

Key responsibilities include leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to accelerate content creation, audience targeting, and communications workflows; helping develop and maintain X-Bow's core narrative and messaging across audiences; drafting executive communications; coordinating with PR and creative agencies; monitoring media coverage; creating and maintaining marketing collateral; supporting trade show and conference planning; assisting in preparing investor-facing materials; and supporting company-wide announcements.

We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Public Affairs, Journalism, Engineering, or a related field, and 5–8 years of experience across marketing, corporate communications, public affairs, or a closely related function. Required skills include demonstrated expertise in AI-driven marketing and communications tools, exceptional writing ability, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. Preferred experience includes defense, aerospace, deep tech, or other highly technical industries, managing PR, creative, or marketing agency relationships, exposure to investor relations, government relations, or public affairs functions, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

This role is intentionally broad. As X-Bow continues to scale and expand its marketing and communications function, this role will evolve.
