Financial Analyst / FP&A Manager

Kforce has a client in Mansfield, MA that is seeking a Financial Analyst/FP&A Manager to support financial planning, reporting, consolidation, and analysis activities. This role is responsible for preparing monthly financial results, analyzing variances, consolidating information across multiple systems, and developing management-level reporting. The ideal candidate has strong FP&A experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work with large datasets while translating financial information into clear insights for leadership. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze monthly actual financial results
- Consolidate financial data across multiple business units, systems, and data sources
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and management-level presentations
- Perform variance analysis and provide clear commentary on financial results
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, discrepancies, and key business drivers
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Develop and maintain financial models, reports, and analytical tools
- Prepare financial schedules and supporting analysis for leadership
- Assist with quarterly and annual reporting requirements
- Support executive and board-level reporting materials as needed
- Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to explain financial results
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve financial processes
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field preferred
- 3-5 years of Financial Analyst, FP&A, or related finance experience
- Experience with monthly actuals and financial reporting
- Experience with financial consolidations
- Experience working with multiple ERP systems or financial data sources
- Strong variance analysis and financial commentary skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prepare management-level reports and presentations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
